Volunteer Training

We are often asked " Why do you conduct volunteer training? Aren't things simple enough?"

The answer is "Yes!"

Yes, Things are simple enough, but there are many  ways of doing things.

One of the nicer things about all Ride for Kids events, besides the good they do,  is how smoothly they run. They do so because, over the years, RFK  staff has made all the mistakes, and learned from each one of them.

Thumbs Up Riders!!

They know what works, and what has potential for creating more problems than it solves, or detracts from our purpose. RFK  events have become  well oiled machines, each a symphony of efforts... because all volunteers ' sing from the same song sheet ' , if you will.

19 Years and over 200 events is truly an experiential university...

With that in mind, NERFK Volunteer training will be held on the Thursday  and Friday evenings before the ride. One for each end of the ride.

Please: Volunteers must  attend one, and are welcome at all.
